Phase 1 of the repair of our Thrift Store is completed and the store reopened June 17th for business. Phase 1 involved replacing all of the posts and beams holding up our awning roof, replacing the brick walkway, new windows and all new railings on our stairs and back balcony. The store was closed for 3 weeks while these repairs were made.
Phases 2 and 3 will be relocating our sorting operations to the old OSB area and the expansion of our retail space into the current sorting area. The wall behind our cash register will be opened to allow access to the new space which will be our “boutique” sales area. Phase 2 and 3 are projected to be complete by January 2015.
Thanks to our shoppers who did not forget us. And we hope you will pardon our dust while we upgrade, dismantle, renew, rearrange everything and improve our property for the Tustin community and all the people who support our Store by purchasing or donating.
